Walden Pond is a townhome community developed in the early 1980's and comprised of a diverse mixture of home styles. There are 1 bedroom loft-style homes with skylights and there are more traditional floorplans with 2 or 3 bedrooms. Some homes have fireplaces, and some have basements. Our pond is home to waterfowl, turtles and fish, and deer and rabbits can often be seen in the neighborhood. Squirrels are abundant.
The Board of Directors of Walden Pond is currently in a very active process of renewing and beautifying our community. There are challenges that come with a community that is over twenty years old. However, there are many advantages of an established subdivision such as Walden Pond, including the beautiful, mature trees and the close-knit community of residents who have lived here for many years.
